Louise is...

Moon is a 12-year-old ,15.3 hands Connemara cross. A striking golden palomino he is very inquisitive and interested in people. He is a true character, who loves children, dogs and pigs. However, he knows his own mind and is both fun and funny.

Pedro is the old man of the group. At 19, he stands at just under 17 hands and is a Thoroughbred cross Irish Draft. Commonly known as “Perfect Pedro” he is an impressive ridden horse who came from a show jumping home. Life is a bit quieter for him now, but he loves nothing more than a gallop across the hills and is still the fastest guy on the block. He is often seen wearing a rug as he has an allergic condition that makes him very itchy.

Harley is an impressive chestnut gelding, the same height as Pedro. He was previously his stable mate before he came to Philip. He is a Dutch Warmblood who was imported from Holland and had a career as a 2-star eventer. Alas, when he came to Philip, he had had five years of not doing too much in a large equestrian yard. Now he is still learning how to be a horse and not a competition machine. He can still turn it on in the dressage arena but also likes to be with humans and is reassured by their presence.

Ziggy is a purebred Zwarble, a Dutch breed of sheep renowned for their easy temperament. He is extremely friendly and wants nothing more than to be petted and stroked. He has grown to huge proportion, now the size of a Shetland pony. He is Erik’s best mate and wing man.

Erik the Viking is a very handsome but very gentle purebred Icelandic ram. He came as a lamb with his companion Ziggy the Zwarble from a good friend. He now has a small herd of sheep to watch over, all of whom are his offspring…so of course they are collectively known as the Eriksons. They are very friendly and like to interact with human.

Yogi, Koda, Holmes, Watson and Inca the alpacas are all four-year-old boys. They are inquisitive but timid all at the same time. They take a while to gain their confidence in new people and generally are happy to com up to you but don’t like to be touched.
